A CHRISTIAN’S HEALING Here in the body pent, Absent from Him I roam; Yet nightly pitch my moving tent A day's march nearer home. James Montgomery   Romans 8:11 (KJV)  11  But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also  quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.  As I sit and think about family and friends that are sick and suffering or that have gone on to glory after a lengthy illness, I  think about the number of times I have asked God to heal them.  I can’t help but ask myself, if I am being selfish or do I  really understand what I am asking for. I mean, I ask God to Heal my friends and loved ones, but to what definition of  healing? Mine or Christ’s?  How do I know if God’s view of healing of an individual is to remove them from the suffering that they are in to be with Him  in Glory? That is a TRUE Christian healing, isn’t it? To be taken away from the troubles, headaches, illnesses, doctor visits  and constant restlessness and to be sitting at His feet.  I can see the VICTORY in a physical healing and your life being a message to those who are experiencing the same that you  are. However, I can see the VICTORY in the death of one that has suffered for so long and now all that has weighed them  down, no longer a issue. So, a Christian’s healing can be seen as a VICTORY either way! As much as we would want to be a vision of hope for those  that are struggling, neither one of us would tell God, “NO!” when it our time to be with Him. I consider my loved ones that  have gone on before and are resting in Jesus and I sit with a smile. I think of the life and legacy of such strong “Children of  God”, that set forth the example for me and my family members. Those who have paved the way and made it possible for  those of us who follow and live the life that they’ve demonstrated while walking on earth. Yes, there is still a void, but Jesus  has filled the voids with memories and when I get myself into a situation, I reflect on how it was handled before me and how  the Master has never failed those who are watching. It’s simple, A Christian’s Healing is a victory in any manner and we should pay close attention and rejoice, emulate and live  the life that has been set before us. Knowing that the end is only the beginning of our Victory!
